I really enjoyed being in this class. Because it is during first period, it was a nice way to ease into the day. It was interesting to learn how websites are put together and to make one of our own. The class went at a perfect pace. However, the last project was assigned during exam time which added on some stress, but it worked out anyways and was not too difficult. I wouldn't change anything else about the class except maybe assigning the big project a little earlier. I loved this class and am glad I took it.

winter break

Over the break I went out to my ranch for a few days with my dad. It was supposed to snow for the day so we did not know if we wanted to go out there or not. But we went anyways. it is a two hour drive out there and we stop at a gas station halfway to fill up on gas for the weekend. When we left the halfway point it was like we were driving in a blizzard in Colorado. You could barely see the car infront of you. When we finally got out to the ranch it had already gotten 3 inches of snow. It was so pretty out there. I couldnt ride my horses though, but I took them out and walked them around in the snow.

project

My project is making a website for Nurse Biggs. So far we have been meeting during first period for a few minutes to ask her questions about the color scheme and how she likes what I have done so far. Yesterday I showed her all I've done so far and she loved it. She decided on the colors red and yellow and the picture I picked out for the top of all the pages is very cute. Ms. Biggs is such a fun person to make this website for.

exams

Exams are getting closer. We only have 2 more days of reviewing and then they are here. This has been the most busy "dead week." I've had so much work I haven't even started to get all my material together to study. Tonight I'm going to get all my stuff together and start all my reviews. I think my hardest exam will be history because there is so much material to learn and people's name to remember. It's also hard for me to grasp the whole picture like for writing an essay about all of it. English I think will be my best because it is just 2 essays. But it will still be challenging because we have to relate all the books we have read this semester to each other finding common themes.

mondays

Mondays are the worst days ever. You come back to school from a long, busy weekend and are exhausted. I had to write 4 papers over the weekend and we had the dance on Saturday which was a lot of fun. Last night I stayed up till 2 a.m. finishing off all the papers and the night before went to bed at 4 a.m. . And now today I have a test, tomorrow I have 2, and another one on Wednesday and then on top of that starting to prepare for the exams, which are going to be really hard. This will a really long and stressful week.

long week

This week has been a really long week. I have so much work to do since exams are in 2 weeks. I'm dreading next week because I have a physics paper due Monday, history test Tuesday, math test Tuesday, 2 english essays due, and on top of all of that, the hours of homework they will pile up on us. It's going to be a long 2 weeks before finally can get a break.

snow

Today I walked downstairs about to leave for school and when I looked outside it was snowing. Not just like Texas snow that barley sticks and can hardly see, but its like real snow you get in the north with the big flakes that are falling everywhere. I have never seen it snow like this in Dallas, I feel like I'm in Colorado. Too bad its not cold enough for the roads to freeze, then we could go home. I have always wanted it to snow on Christmas, maybe this year it might.

Blogger vs. Wordpress

I did two different blogs, one on this site and one on wordpress. I like this site better for blogging because it is a lot easier to change the settings and I think it is less confusing than wordpress is. This site does not have any adds or other things on your page. On wordpress, your page has some adds for different things which I find distracting. When I set this page up, it asked me to make my settings and choose different colors immediatley. In wordpress, I did not know where to change the settings or how to make it look more unique.

Favorite time of the year

My favorite time of the year is from Thanksgiving until the end of December. I love the weather during this time of the year. The whole atmosphere during this time is all happy; everyone is in high spirits. The only thing that is bad about this time are the exams. Those occur right in the middle of Thanksgiving break and Christmas break. They get everyone so stressed and tense, but at least the break after gives us something to look forward to. During Christmas break my family and I usually go out to Beaver Creek, Colorado to ski. That might be one of my favorite places to go because I love skiing and the cold weather.
